Sourcelighthealing.co.uk / sourcelightconnection.co.uk is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy in your interactions with this website. This statement sets out how your personal details are handled if you visit this website and if you contact me through it.
When you email me via this website the personal information I receive will include your email address, the name you give, and possibly a contact telephone number and information about yourself in your email content. I may keep a printed record of your enquiry and of my response to your enquiry, and I will ask your permission to retain this record to comply with General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR).
I will never hold or collect information about you from third parties.
I do not hold completed forms or personal information on a computer (‘data’). Emails are deleted but may be printed before deletion from the receiving inbox and from my computer. The printed information is held securely, in a locked cabinet. Information will generally be retained for a maximum of one year unless you book an online or face to face healing session where other conditions apply on which you will be advised, as appropriate.
Your information is held for the purpose of keeping a record of your enquiry, keeping a record of your permission for, and any associated information relating to, an online or face to face healing session if this applies, and a record of your permission to hold this information.
You have the right to contact me at any time by email to indicate that you withdraw your permission for me to hold your printed emails, at which point these will be deleted. PLEASE NOTE that my legal obligations will prevent me from destroying your permission forms for healing until seven years from date of form completion has elapsed.
All information related to your enquiry and any healing sessions, whether conducted at distance, online or face to face, is confidential and would be shared only for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or to comply with a legal obligation. All information is held only in paper form and kept secured in a locked cabinet situated in the United Kingdom. Information will never be transferred outside the UK.
When your information has reached its retainment duration, or if you ask for it to be deleted and there is no legal obligation on me to retain in, then the papers holding the information will be destroyed by shredding. If I am unable to comply with your request to delete information held about you, due to a legal obligation, I will inform you of this within 28 days of your request.
You have the right to request to see copies of the information held, and to correct that information if you consider it incorrect. I will comply with your request within the statutory one month from receiving your request.
This website does not use cookies to track activity for analytical purposes (ie it has no optional cookies in operation). All cookies operating on this site are essential for technical purposes.
You should be aware that sending information via email over the internet is not necessarily always secure, and that your personal information may therefore be at risk.
The content of this privacy notice may change to reflect any changes in the way this website operates or in the way that we handle personal information. You should therefore return to this page from time to time to keep yourself aware of how we handle your personal information in case that has changed since your initial reading of this notice.
